The hotel has a really excellent location - just 5 min walking distance from Colloseum and Forum. The room is perfect for a romantic gettaway: big room, big double bed, very clean, toilet fully equiped (blowdrier included), breakfast served in the room, good air condition. The personel in the reception gave us a warm welcom and kept to themself the rest of our stay - respected our privacy. We felt very happy and for sure we will recommend it to any couple looking for a good hotel with a decent price.
The hotel was in a good location, close to 2 metro stops and easy to find. Decent size room, hotel staff was very helpful.
The room was a little warm, the air conditioner didn't quite keep up to the heat. When I asked the staff, the did provide a fan that helped some.
The location is very good and the personel helpfull
It was not very clean
Excellent location and comfortable go anywhere else, beds comfortable, nice staff.
Bathroom really, really small.
We had room no 209. Quite clean with comfortable bed. Tv and bathroom included. It's nice they give you breakfast to your room. And it is so close to Via dei Fori Imperiali/ Colosseum.
Very thick walls - you could hear anyone coming in or out from the hotel for the whole night. Thats on one side of the room. On the other side you have window with a view to a very loud street. Bathroom has like 2 m2. Breakfast is a little bit boring -each day the same thing.
Perfect location, quite big room
Cigarette smoke in room, bad smell in bathroom, poor and cheap breakfast
The hotel is very centrally located and therefore ideal for tourists. The staff was friendly, the room big and clean. Very good value for money. And good espresso coffee for breakfast.
One should pick a room that's not looking at the Cavour Street. The main problem of the hotel is that you can hear wha'ts going on in the corridor. And the croissants were really bad! Apart from that everything was great.
The hotel is located very very near the Colosseum and all the historical area. We only had some hours in Rome but we got the chance to see a lot and even take a tour inside the Colosseum before our flight left. We did not even have to take a metro, as it is just around the corner. We enjoyed it both by night and in daylight. We had a small dog and they very very friendly and pleased to see both our three children and the little dog. Just outside was a very very good restaurant. We had super good steaks there and could not have asked for a better restaurant. Perfect to have it just outside your door.
They did not have a microwave to heat baby formula. They helped out to heat it on their own stove, very nicely, but it would had been so much easier if only they had had a microwave. We could not buy water for the baby formula at the hotel when we arrived in the evening, although it was possibe the next day in the vending machines when they had been filled up. Stores were open outside very late though as this hotel is located in the middle of the center. The beds were very very hard and we did not sleep well due to this, neither did my father in law and his wife who stayed in the same hotel.
The room was large, clean and well provided, good heating, the service was OK. Location was good for visitingthe city
The noise of cars from the street at night, and breakfast in the room it was sort of difficult for the space available and the options for the breakfast were limited.
Hotel Labelle is all about location - it's just a few minutes away from the Collosseum, the Typewriter, Piazza Venezia and Foro Romano. It has 2 metro stations in the area (Collosseum and Cavour) and a lot of bus stations that are very well connected to all the hot spots in Rome. It is located in the Monti district, filled with nice restaurants, bars and indie shops. The hotel occupies the third floor of an apartment building. The rooms are pretty small, but cozy. Air conditioning, tv, refrigerator all work. The staff is extremely helpful, they helped us out with every information we needed (bus stations, routes, laundromat location, taxi to the airport etc.). Internet is available on the corridor.
The bathroom is a bit small but it works.
Staff was friendly and even woke up early to help us get a cab ride to the airport. The location was great. Very close to the metro and sightseeing in Ancient Rome. It was very easy to get around to other sites in Rome.
Our first night the air conditioner was broken so we had to move rooms the next day which was slightly inconvenient. The staff was very accommodating though. The beds were also a little uncomfortable compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Italy.
the location is perfect.but it is very noisy during the night, because it is close to some pubs.
Helpful staff and breakfast on our preference
The hotel is clean and comfortable with spacious rooms. The staff are very helpful and do thier best to help you with the idiosyncrasies of Rome. I think this hotel is one of the best priced for it's location and quality.
The website did not give us confidence so we were pleasantly surprised by the actual hotel.
the best thing about the hotel was it's location - five minute walk to the colloseum.
the hotel staff and service left much to be desired
